THE ROLE OF TERPENES

We are dedicated to elevating the cannabis culture by infusing creativity and craftsmanship into the market. We take pride in the artistic process and strive for excellence to create truly exceptional, one-of-a-kind products. Our artisanal cannabis is rich in trichomes and terpenes, providing not only visual appeal but an unparalleled smoking experience.

TRICHOMES

Trichomes are the shiny, mushroom-shaped, resinous glands on cannabis buds that contain most of the plant's cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids.

Trichomes are also a sign of premium, high-quality flower to connoisseurs and growers alike. Typically, a strain with a heavier coating of trichomes will contain more cannabinoids, flavonoids, and terpenes.

Naturally, trichomes are beneficial to the plants they grow on. They serve as a defense mechanism against predators, pathogens, harsh weather, and UV rays by creating a protective barrier around the plant's "fruit." Their bitter taste and strong, pungent smell deter pests.

The cultivation environment plays a crucial role in the development of healthy trichomes. If these volatile compounds receive too much physical contact, light, oxygen, heat, or time, they will degrade their potency and flavor. The color and clarity of a trichome signal the optimal harvest time—when a plant has reached peak maturity, the crystalline trichomes will turn cloudy or even change color, ranging from translucent, milky white to amber.

Trichomes are an essential part of the cannabis plant and can be utilized in various ways, including concentrates, vape cartridges, infused pre-rolls, edibles, topicals, and more.

TERPENES

The preservation of terpenes in cannabis flower is crucial because these compounds are responsible for the characteristic aroma, flavor, and potential therapeutic effects of each strain.

Terpenes not only contribute to the sensory experience of using cannabis, but also have been found to offer various potential health benefits, such as pain relief and anti-inflammatory properties.

As terpenes are volatile and easily lost during standard extraction and processing methods, preserving them becomes essential to fully leverage the potential therapeutic value of cannabis.

By understanding these diverse terpene profiles, users can experience a more comprehensive and beneficial effect from the plant, whether for recreational or medicinal purposes.

Some of the most common cannabis terpenes are Limonene, Myrcene, Caryophyllene, Linalool, and Pinene.
