Our research and development method is a calculated and thorough process that combines our own expertise along with feedback from select connoisseurs in our community in order to arrive at the most unique and highest caliber of phenotypes within any given strain.
From the very first seed, Maven Genetics has always placed great importance on the process of pheno-hunting. Because of this we are able to lay claim to one of the most diverse strain libraries in the cannabis space today. Our rigorous Research and Development process is combined with feedback and iteration in order to select the best phenotype of any given strain.
Blue Agape, an Indica cross of our Blue Lotus and White Runtz is the first strain we released through our Research & Development line. This is a potent and hard-hitting strain with an intense and memorable terpene profile. Because of its high terpene content, this Indica offers a bold aroma, flavor profile, and unique and long-lasting high.
While two phenotypes of this new strain (#9 and #23) went head to head, our community favored #9, and we are excited to bring it into full production. Earthy, spicy, pine-forward notes experienced upon breaking the nugs apart are enhanced with every flavor-packed hit. Similar to its parent strains, Blue Agape offers a mellow, relaxing high that is both medicinal and enjoyable for recreational purposes.
Ube Crème is a vivid Indica cross between our very own Affogato and Grape Cuvee. Its dense, deep purple buds and distinct orange Pistils are coated in a thick frosting of pearly Trichomes. The subtle fruit undertones of this strain are enhanced upon grinding, preceded by a heavy, musky, herbal aroma. Warming spices are at the forefront of each draw, with bold cacao notes and a delicate nuttiness, leaving a faintly sweet, buttery exhale with hints of vanilla in the air.
Goji Berry Runtz is an appetizing cross between Kiwi Sorbet and Runtz, whose sparkling buds fill the air with a fragrant ambiance of fresh-picked fruit. Each draw balances the ideal ratio of tang to sugar, with colorful notes of dried citrus and sour berries that tantalize the taste buds. These flavors deepen on every rich, creamy exhale, while an herbal, woodsy undertone adds depth.
